ADMITTANCE POLICY

​At the Pocahontas Theatre ...

To create a comfortable, enjoyable environment appropriate for all ages, we have a few house rules:

  • No profanity, disruptive behavior or vulgar attire

  • No smoking, vaping or e-cigarettes

  • No carry-in food and beverages

  • No children under the age of six are allowed into R-rated movies.

  • No costumes or masks/face painting/make-up that cover an individual’s face.

  • Avoid using cell phones/electronic devices in auditoriums.

  • No recording devices may be used in auditoriums.

The Pocahontas Theatre welcomes any guest and does not discriminate based on any protected class.

For all movies starting at 6PM or later, guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian 25 years of age or older.

 

BAG & PACKAGE POLICY

To expedite entry and for the safety and security of our guests and associates, effective November 22, 2020, bags or packages with any dimensions measuring larger than 16" x 16" x 6" will not be permitted into the theatre. Exception: medical equipment bags and diaper bags. Backpacks are allowed but are subject to be checked. 

*Bags include but are not limited to purses and totes.

The Pocahontas Theatre is committed to ensuring all guests have a welcoming and inclusive experience while attending our cinemas to enjoy the movies, amenities and special events.

POLICY

The Pocahontas Theatre proudly serve all communities, and do not tolerate any practices that discriminate against any guest. Our focus is on maintaining welcoming and diverse environments for our guests and associates, whether they access our services in person, online, by phone or by mail.

We have firm nondiscrimination policies in place to help ensure that all guests are treated with respect and dignity, regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, ancestry, color, religion, sex/gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, physical or mental disability, medical condition (including pregnancy), age, veteran status, military status, marital status, genetic information, citizenship status, political affiliation, or on any other basis or characteristic prohibited by applicable federal, state or local law. Treating any guest with bias, profiling or any other type of discriminatory behavior is strictly prohibited. Any concerns or complaints that are brought forward regarding guest discrimination will be thoroughly investigated.
